Berta Pelegrí
Physical exercise as a new therapeutic model
Who is Berta Pelegrí?
Hi! I’m Berta Pelegrí and I have worked for several years on promoting physical exercise as a new therapeutic model in Barcelona. As part of my training for this work, I have received a Physical Activity and Sport Sciences degree and a postgraduate degree in Physical Activity and Diseases.
Ten years ago, I realised the growing need to create personalised physical exercise plans aimed at people with pathologies who carried out physical activity without control or supervision.

What does "Mou-te i Venceràs" mean?
As a personal trainer I’ve created MOU-TE I VENCERÀS method which offers a personalised sports programme for the improvement and physical well-being of those people who do not know how to develop physical activity effectively and wish to stay fit as well as those who, through physical exercise, wish to improve their quality of life. That is to say, it is the ideal complement for the readaptation of people with pathologies to a life without physical impediments.

How does it work?
The method offers the ability to test your limits as well as the confidence to set your own limits. This method is based on a bioelectrical impedance analysis and other physical activities, as well as on an assessment of the person’s physical state.
This is followed by two weekly sessions in which joint mobility is worked on and exercises are carried out in terms of coordination and balance, strength and endurance and, finally, flexibility and relaxation to allow them to do an exercise adapted to their needs, avoiding excessive effort.
